RODI too fast ? RO TDS too high ?

hey guys

just setup a RODI system, with double DI canisters, and double TDS checkers/readers.

My Inline tap water is 170 TDS, after floss/double carbon it bumps up to 200 TDS, after RO it drop down to 7 TDS (96.5% rejection rate), and after DI it goes down to 0 TDS. FYI my water temperature is very warm.

(1) is it normal for TDS to go up after carbon?
(2) why is my RO rejection rate of 96.5% instead of 99%?

Thank you

Sorry forgot to mention the third question:

(3) It seems to generate quite a bit more than 75 gallons per day - not sure why however. I believe my connections are all correct. My PSI is around 60

1) Yes.

2) We don't know. You can send the membrane back to us to re-test. With only 170 TDS tap water, you hardly need to worry about a few ppm. A difference of 1-2% really becomes significant when the tap water TDS is over 500. You can try cleaning the TDS probes' pins with rubbing alcohol to improve TDS readings.

3) It's a 90 GPD membrane, not 75 GPD and warm water makes product water faster.
