JBJ 45g Rimless

Anyone have one? Reviews? Complaints?

Someone locally is selling one brand new for a good price. It has me intrigued. I was originally saving up for an Innovative marine 50. But that tank and stand costs $1100. This new 45g rimless from JBJ would cost just about $400 with a slight change in dimensions, but similar type of tank.

Thanks all.

If you can just go bigger.
For me it was a ok tank not much room in the display and have to upgrade pumps and media baskets so thats extra $$

I would rip out the media basket anyway. I have a pump that would replace both the stock pumps. I am used to the jbj 28g. Going bigger than 50 really isn't an option.

How old is the tank? There was a problem with the edges on the JBJ RL 45 a while ago being too thin and would spring a leak. How thick is the glass?

It is brand new still in the plastic. The listing for the tank says 8mm bent glass.
